“Though she be but little, she is fierce!”

― William Shakespeare

That’s our “little wine shop” in a nutshell.  Every week we are tasting new and exciting wines from all over the world.  Our goal is to be thoughtful in selecting unique and cost-efficient wines that you may not be able to find in larger stores.  We are dedicating this portion of our website to new wines that are making their appearance in the shop.

“What’s New and Tasty”

Talley, Chardonnay, Arroyo Grande Valley, 2016 - $24.95 - Classic California Chardonnay, with ample amounts of oak, butter, baked lemon and ripe apple on the nose. The palate pairs golden apples with buttercream and a light brush of vanilla, with acid that powers deep into the finish. 90PTS - Wine Enthusiast

Lyrarakis 2017 Vóila Assyrtiko - $17.95 - This Assyrtiko from Eastern Crete offers tropical fruit and citrus aromas, with a palate that's full but finishes fresh. Easy-drinking and appealing to myriad palates, it's a wine with a playful character! Check out the Washington Post Review on this wine: https://www.washingtonpost.com/people/dave-mcintyre/

Cass Winery, GSM, Paso Robles, 2015 - $23.95 - 50% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah. Complex flavors are showcased with notes of pomegranate, dried cranberries, whole white peppercorns and crushed geranium flowers. Intensely fragrant featuring aromas of freshly picked strawberry, wild red cherry and pomegranate jelly.

BOURGOGNE PINOT NOIR "Les Ursulines" 2016 - $20.95 - Visual: brilliant ruby red. Nose: open, with aromas of strawberry and raspberry enhanced by nice spicy notes. Palate: a scrumptious and juicy wine with a beautiful length. 91PTS - JS and 90PTS - WE!
